Position: Production Manager Birthday: December 6th Hometown: St. George, Utah Major: Graduated from BYU with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre studies, emphasizing in Stage Management About Me: I first joined Divine Comedy in 2006, back before I knew what I was doing with my life. Stage managing for Divine Comedy led me to pursue a degree in that area and I’ve been actively working in amateur and professional theatre's since 2008. After I graduated I moved to California and worked for some tiny little companies around the Palm Springs area, most recently for a company called The Fabulous Palm Springs Follies, a theatre company that produced a follies production every season only casting actors 55 and older. Unfortunately, for some unknown reason, the theatre company went under and I found myself back in St. George working for Tuacahn Center for the Arts and Dixie State University. Then, unable to resist the call of the Happy Valley, I traveled back up here to continue working for BYU. A few weeks ago someone mentioned that Divine Comedy needed some help and I decided that the perfect way to celebrate my 9 year Divine Comedy anniversary would be to re-join the group! You’ll now find me puttering around rehearsals and performances, normally with a Dr. Pepper in hand, telling people what to do and trying not to trip over my own feet. Or napping. I could be napping as well. |
